Built for providers
Training centres and providers need platform capabilities that corporate LMS buyers do not:
- Certificates are issued under your organisation's name — you are the issuer. Elumio provides delivery and public verification, not a partnership or accreditation badge.
- Designer control: background logo, custom text fields, signature — your brand.
- QR verification is public — learners and employers check without logging into your system.
- BYO curriculum — not a government course catalog or packaged content library.
- Self-serve platform — not a partnership or accreditation application.
Certificates under your name (what Elumio does NOT do)
Elumio does not issue credentials on its own behalf. If you are a DOLE-accredited STO, you control the certificate text — put your accreditation wording in the designer. Elumio does not claim to be DOLE-accredited and does not issue DOLE BOSH or COSH credentials. Structured accreditation schema on the verify page is not implemented today. What you get: a platform to run your courses and issue certificates under your name, with public QR verification so anyone can check valid / revoked / expired.
Proof behind every pass
Completion is measured, not self-reported:
- Server-side watch credit from intervals actually reached — not a dragged playhead.
- Strict mode per course when required modules cannot be skipped.
- Assessment unlocks only after required lectures are genuinely complete.
- Pass → PDF with serial number and QR — valid, revoked, or expired on public check.
What the verification page reports
Valid means the training completed and the certificate still stands. Revoked means it was withdrawn. Expired means the training happened and is due again — deliberately not the same as fake. The record is tied to your organisation's issuing data.
Expiry and retakes
Set certificate validity to match your programme cycle. When a credential expires, the verification page says the training happened and is due again — not that it was counterfeit. Email reminders before expiry when enabled for the course: learners are notified before their credential lapses; trainers get a digest of who is coming due so a refresher gets scheduled rather than discovered late. Notice window is set per course (seven days by default). Set reminder days to 0 to disable emails for that course.
Who this is for
Training centres, STOs, and skills providers that need a platform to run courses and issue certificates under their own name.
Not for
Providers shopping for a DOLE or TESDA partnership or accreditation badge — this is a self-serve platform, not a partnership program. Organisations that must show an existing SOC 2 or ISO 27001 cert before adopting any tool — we do not hold those today (stated plainly on our FAQ). Buyers looking for packaged government course content — bring your own curriculum. Not for layering seats into an existing enterprise LMS.
What we don't claim
Elumio is not a DOLE-accredited training body and does not issue government credentials (BOSH, COSH, TESDA NC). If you are accredited, you issue under your name — Elumio is the delivery and verification layer. We do not hold SOC 2 or ISO 27001 today. We do not claim to replace legal, regulatory, or accreditation advice. Audit packs are included on Starter and above; Free includes them as a trial capability.
How it works
Five steps inside the product:
- Create a course and upload your curriculum (video lectures, assessment).
- Customize the certificate designer with your logo, text, and signature.
- Invite trainees by email — they sign in with a one-time code.
- Watch → exam (server-side completion controls) → pass.
- Issue PDF with serial number and QR — anyone can verify valid / revoked / expired.
Related questions
How does certificate verification work?
Every pass issues a PDF containing the holder's name, the course, the dates, a serial number and a QR code.
Scanning the QR opens a public page that reports one of three states — valid, revoked, or expired — checked against the issuing organisation's records. No login and no Elumio relationship is required for whoever is checking.
Expired is deliberately not the same as fake: the page says the training happened and is due to be retaken.
On a custom training address the verification page may wear that organisation's theme, and it answers only for certificates that organisation issued. elumio.io/verify stays the global check, in Elumio's theme, for any certificate.
Which plans include audit packs?
Included on Starter and above. Free includes them as a trial capability.
Do certificates survive if we stop paying?
Yes. Certificates already issued stay valid and stay publicly verifiable. A certificate records that somebody completed training; it does not depend on whether their employer is still subscribing.
Does anyone get warned before a certificate expires?
Yes, and both sides are told without anyone having to remember. The trainee is emailed before their own certificate lapses, and the trainer receives a digest of everyone across their courses who is coming due — so a refresher gets scheduled rather than discovered late.
How far ahead that email goes out is set per course, because a quarterly refresher and an annual one do not need the same notice. Seven days is the default.
The cohort screen flags anyone expiring within thirty days, separately from the emails. That is the planning view a trainer opens on purpose; the email is the nudge that arrives when the date is close enough to act on.
Is Elumio SOC 2 or ISO 27001 certified?
No. We hold no third-party security certifications at this time, and we would rather say so than imply otherwise.
What we can describe is what the platform actually does: encrypted transport, daily backups, authorisation re-derived on the server for every request, rate limiting on authentication, and an audit trail of trainer actions. If your procurement process requires a formal certification, we are not yet the right fit.
How do I get started?
Five steps:
- Create an account — you are on the free plan immediately.
- Create a course. You choose whether it includes a video, an assessment, and a certificate.
- Upload a lecture or create one, and approve it before trainees see it.
- If the course has an assessment, write it or have AI draft questions and approve them.
- Invite trainees by email.
