Fair Use Policy

What you may and may not do with the training material in this portal.

In effect from 12 August 2026

1. Who this applies to

This policy applies to everyone who signs in to the training portal — trainees taking a course and trainers who administer one. It applies from your first sign-in, and it continues to apply after you finish a course for as long as you hold any part of the material or any notes taken from it.

2. What the material is

The courses in this portal — the videos, transcripts, assessment questions, answers and certificate designs — belong to [Legal entity name] or to those who licensed them to us. They are given to you for one purpose: completing the training you have been enrolled in, and doing the work it prepares you for.

3. What you may do

  • Watch each lecture as often as you like, and rewind as often as you like.
  • Read the transcript alongside the video, and use it to find a section again.
  • Take your own notes, in your own words, and keep them.
  • Return to a completed course at any time to refresh your memory.
  • Show your certificate to anyone who asks for proof of your training, and give them its verification link.
  • Apply what you have learned in your work. That is the entire point of it.

4. What you may not do

  • Record it. No screen recordings, screen captures or screenshots; no photographing or filming the screen with a phone or any other device; no capture by software of any kind.
  • Download or extract it. Do not attempt to save the video, capture the stream, or copy the transcript, the questions or the answers out of the portal.
  • Share your access. Your sign-in code and your session are personal to you. Do not give the code to anyone, do not let anyone else use your session, and do not sign in on someone else's behalf.
  • Have someone else do it for you. The training must be watched, and the assessment answered, by the person whose name will appear on the certificate.
  • Republish it. Do not upload any part of the material to any website, social platform, messaging group, shared drive, note-taking service or AI assistant — whether public, private or "just for me".
  • Reuse it elsewhere. The material is for your training with us. It is not for training anyone else, not for another employer or client, and not for a product or service of your own.
  • Circulate the questions or the answers. Passing assessment questions or answers to another trainee destroys the meaning of both your certificates and puts both of you at risk.
  • Interfere with the portal. Do not attempt to bypass the playback rules, fabricate watch progress, reach another person's records, or probe the service for weaknesses.

5. Your name is on the video

Every lecture you watch carries your email address written across the picture. It moves as you watch, so that it cannot be cropped out of a recording. Separately, the portal records each time a playback link is issued to your account, when, and from which network address.

What that means in practice. If a recording of this training turns up somewhere it should not be, it will carry the address of the account that was watching when it was made. This is not a prediction about how likely we are to look. It is a statement about what the recording will say if anyone does.

6. If something goes wrong, tell us early

If you think someone else has used your account, if you have been sent training material by someone who should not have sent it, or if you have done something on this list without realising it was a problem — tell your trainer straight away. Do not pass the material on any further.

Coming forward promptly and being found out later are treated very differently, and that difference is deliberate. We would much rather know.

7. If this policy is broken

Breaking this policy is a breach of the Training Terms and Conditions, and section 8 of those terms sets out what may follow — including withdrawal of access, revocation of a certificate, treatment as a disciplinary or contractual matter, and recovery of the costs a breach causes us.

8. Questions

Ask your trainer, or write to [training contact email]. If you are not sure whether something is allowed, ask before you do it rather than after.
